Peddlr Philippines Inc. had a virtual Q3 Town Hall meeting on October 10, 2023. This quarterly gathering of Peddlr teams, senior leaders, and stakeholders is more than just a routine event—it is also a celebration of our accomplishments.   

Q3 Business Meeting

The event began with a spotlight on our achievements, where we announced the remarkable accomplishments of each department. It was a moment of pride to see how we've reached new milestones through collective effort and set the bar high for the future. 

These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication and hard work of every individual in our organization, and we commend each department for its outstanding contributions. 

 Here are several notable achievements showcased in the event: 

• The Peddlr Facebook Group Fosters Community: We are dedicated to nurturing a thriving community of Peddlr users within the Peddlr Facebook Group.
• Building Strong Collaborations: We maintain robust relationships and actively engage in collaborations with institutions like DTI and various NGOs.
• Extensive Social Media Presence: Peddlr continues to reach millions of individuals across various social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
• New Product Launches: We've recently launched exciting products, e-Renta and Kanto Ads, designed to enhance marketers' and local stores experiences.

Together, we celebrated our winnings and the exciting plans for Peddlr and MSMEs in the Philippines, shared by our CEO Nel Laygo.

Our Q3 Town Hall event was not only about business achievements but also about team building. In addition to conducting work-related programs, we organized activities for everyone to play and enjoy. 

Creating a Dynamic and Enjoyable Experience 

The theme of our activities was Anime. It added a creative and fun element to our meeting, allowing Peddlr members to embrace their inner otaku. 

Our aim was to cultivate a collaborative and dynamic environment that would foster teamwork, enhance communication, and stimulate critical thinking among team members. We knew that just having a virtual meeting might not be enough to keep everyone interested, so we came up with six virtual games to make things more exciting. 

The first game was "Name that Character," where we had to put our anime knowledge to the test and guess the name of a character from an anime show. The second game was "4 Pics 1 Word," where we had to brainstorm and figure out the common word for all four pictures. The third game was "Jumbled Words," where we had to test our word skills and unscramble a word's letters to make a meaningful word. The fourth game was "Bring Me," where we had to race around our homes to find and bring an item that matched a specific description. The fifth game was "Be the Detective," where we had to put on our thinking caps and solve a mystery by asking questions and gathering clues. And last but not least, the sixth game was "Skribble," where we had to guess the word that a team member was trying to draw.

The best part about these games was not just the fun and excitement they brought but we also got to bond with each other, unleash our creativity, and utilize our cognitive abilities to solve challenging puzzles and mysteries. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience that left us all feeling energized and connected.

With the help of technological tools, we created an innovative approach by adding these games to our meeting. This helped us to break the monotony of traditional virtual meetings and encouraged everyone to get involved and connect with each other in new and exciting ways.

Perhaps the most eagerly anticipated part of the event was the "Best in Anime Costume" awards. Two Peddlr members truly stood out from the crowd and caught the judges' attention with their amazing costumes. The level of creativity and attention to detail that went into their costumes was truly impressive, and it was clear that they had put a lot of thought and effort into their outfits.

The crowd erupted in virtual applause when their names were announced as the winners of the "Best in Anime Costume" awards. It was a well-deserved recognition for their hard work and creativity.
