UI/UX Lead

Oversees a product throughout its product lifecycle. That includes working out what customers want, helping the business to build the right product and then supporting the business to sell it. They also provide the product vision and leadership for the many other roles involved in developing, supporting, marketing, and selling the product. That includes ensuring the product supports the company’s strategy and goals. Note: PH based only.

Role Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: 

Manage and lead a team of UI and UX designers, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance. 

Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, promoting the development of design skills and expertise. 

Design Strategy: 

Define and communicate the design vision and strategy for digital products or services. 

Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers and developers, to align design efforts with business goals. 

User Research: 

Oversee user research activities to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points. 

Ensure that research findings inform the design process and decision-making. 

User Experience Design: 

Lead the creation of user personas, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes. 

Ensure that UX designs prioritize usability, accessibility, and a seamless user experience. 

User Interface Design: 

Oversee the creation of visually appealing and consistent UI designs, including layouts, color schemes, typography, and interactive elements. 

Ensure that UI designs adhere to brand guidelines and design principles. 

Design Review and Feedback: 

Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the design team. 

Collaborate with team members to iterate and refine design concepts and solutions. 

Usability Testing: 

Plan and execute usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and gather user feedback. 

Translate test results into actionable design improvements. 

Quality Assurance: 

Ensure that design standards and best practices are followed in the development process. 

Review and approve design deliverables before implementation. 

Documentation: 

Maintain design documentation, style guides, and design system components. 

Keep design assets organized and accessible to the design and development teams. 

Stakeholder Communication: 

Communicate design progress, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders, including executive leadership. 


Job Requirements:

  • Business information systems, Computer science/information technology, Information management systems or related degree.
