Accounting Admin Associate

Accounting Admin Associate assists the Finance team with administrative, accounting, and bookkeeping functions. Their duties typically include clerical tasks, such as filing and maintaining accounting records, as well as creating SOAs for clients. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Performing the basic accounting functions
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns
  • Handle a variety of miscellaneous tasks and special projects as assigned by supervisors and team members
  • Assist in the preparation of schedules and support as required for the annual audit
  • Assist finance team with administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and research tasks
  • Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Assist in the scanning and digital archiving of paper documents, as necessary
  • Ensure that all financial documents are filed correctly and are easily retrievable when needed
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of billing information before sending SOAs to clients
  • Generate SOAs for clients in a timely and accurate manner
  • Act as the primary point of contact between our organization and relevant government agencies (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth & BIR)
  • Coordinate and facilitate the timely exchange of information between our organization and government agencies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
